In all the months that I've conducted interviews of staff, trustees and administrative employees of the Bryant Library, I never once asked the "interviewee" what their favorite book is. It would seem to be the most obvious question. In all likelihood, people who work at libraries would have at least one or two on their list.
Not only is it something that I'm curious about, but I think it would reveal a thing or two about that person. Possibly expounding on "why" that's a favorite book choice would be a nice follow up query.
Readers of this blog: would you care to tell me what your favorite book is -- and why?
